After closing the door and pressing the switch, Heero put the worn jacked over the chair. The light flickered a few times before illuminating the small room. He sighed and ran his hand through his hair, pushing the messy bangs out of his face. His mind was racing at incredible speed. What was he going to do? He's never felt so many different emotions before. He was angry, hurt, worried, uncertain about what he was planning to do and maybe even scared. He felt that kidnaping the boy was the right thing to do, but at the same time he knew it wasn't his fault. He shouldn't suffer for what his father had done. Heero sighed again, much louder this time, and slumped on the bed closing his eyes. All the thinking and constant worrying has given him a headache. He brought his hands to his head gently rubbing his temples hoping the irritating pain inside his head would cease, as he didn't have any aspirin.

After lying like that for a couple of minuets, he reluctantly stood up. The motion made the pain increase and he groaned in irritation. He had to take his clothes off. If he slept in them they'd become shabby a lot faster and he couldn't exactly go and buy new whenever he felt like it.

When he was left only in his boxers and a tank top, he slid under the thin blanket pulling it over his shoulders. He just lay like that staring at a tiny hole in the ceiling for hours before sleep finally crept over him, taking away all the worries and the pain in his head.

"Hey Sara! said the cheery voice as the figure dressed in black burst through the door surprising the woman. The maid jumped at the sound and whirled around, eyes wide with shock. When she saw Duo she relaxed at first and then her eyes narrowed. Mock glaring at the boy she asked.

"You do that on purpose, don't you?"

"What did I do?" he asked with the most innocent face he could make and a hint of surprise in his voice.

"You know what! Isn't there anything better to do than scare the hell out of me every single day?"

He grinned and headed for the stairs whispering 'No" as he walked.

"So how was school today?" the maid asked without much interest in her voice. Duo stopped and turned around with a huge grin.

"It was great!" He exclaimed, making his way back to the maid.

"I had so much fun today! You should have seen what Jimmy did to our English teacher..."

She sighed inwardly. This is gonna take a while. She felt sorry for the boy. Although he had everything, he was still lonely. His parents loved him very much, but they were too busy to be there for him whenever he needed them. They dedicated every spare moment they had to their son, but there weren't many of those moments. She believed that was the reason he talked so much. He was trying to draw attention to himself. And she was usually the one who had to listen to him. She couldn't tell him to shut up because she was a maid after all, but sometimes he was just going on her nerves so much...

It's not like she had something against Duo. It's exactly the opposite. The boy was very dear to her. She'd worked for the Maxwell family since before he was born, so she was there to watch him grow. That's why she loved him as if he was her own.

Sudden silence brought her back from her thoughts and she realized that Duo had finished his story. She smiled.

"I'm glad you've had so much fun, Duo."

He smiled back and ran up the stairs to his room.

As soon as he closed the door he sent his bag flying across the room and falling on the carpeted floor. He hopped on the bed stretching his arms high above his head and legs dangling off the sides of the bed. He yawned. Good thing he didn't have any homework for tomorrow. He could do whatever he wanted , so he reached over to the small table next to his bed and picked up a book. He loved reading. None of his friends knew that, not even his parents. No one really knew him and that hurt him a lot. They all considered him for a smiling idiot he presented himself to be. He often wondered if it was because he was such a good actor, or simply because no one even cared to see through his mask. He pushed the thoughts away as he opened the book and started reading.

The sun came through the window gently caressing the sleeping boy's skin. It illuminated his face making him look holy and beautiful. He stirred in bed de tangling himself from the sheets. One cobalt eye opened slowly followed by the other. He frowned narrowing his eyes and glaring at the sun. Was it morning already? Reluctantly he got up. During breakfast he remembered the plan he'd made last night as he couldn't fall asleep. Today he will go to Duo's school to try and find the boy. He made a decision- it was something that had to be done.
